A disconnected downspout at the rear elevation

At the rear of the building, a downspout section had separated at the eave, with its outlet hanging loose above the wall instead of routing water down to grade. The detached section was removed for the repair rather than left in place.

Reconnecting the run to grade

The repair re-established a full downspout run from the eave connection down to a flexible extension at grade, directing discharge away from the foundation instead of down the wall face. Small drainage details like this are easy to overlook until they show up as staining or water intrusion at the wall below.
